Cultivating Students’ Competence to Evaluate Online (mis)information and to Share it Responsibly

The internet and social media are awash with sophisticated misinformation and disinformation, and it has become harder to know what is real and what is fake online. One of the key challenges in today’s post-truth world is to help youth develop the skills and dispositions to tell apart reliable and unreliable information and to share information responsibly. We have created pedagogical designs and technologies to support Israeli students in navigating this new reality that have proven impact on students’ competence to evaluate online information and to share it responsibly.
